IAI RCP4-SA5R-I-42P-20-300-P3-R03-MR is a motor-reversed slider-type electric actuator from the RCP4 RoboCylinder series. It combines a 42P pulse motor, incremental encoder, 20 mm ball-screw lead and 300 mm working stroke.

Selection and Replacement Notes

Confirm that the installed actuator is the SA5R motor-reversed version rather than the straight-motor SA5C version. Although the movement specifications may be related, the total dimensions, motor position and cable routing are different.

Verify the complete 20 mm lead, 300 mm stroke and P3-R03-MR suffix. Changing to a lead-6 or shorter-stroke model alters speed, thrust, mounting dimensions and controller parameters.

Before removing the original unit, record the mechanical datum, home position, controller model, parameter data, motor orientation and cable installation. Test the replacement axis at reduced speed before restoring full production operation.
