TOKYO KEIKI TOKIMEC DG4V-3-6C-M-P7-H-7-52 Solenoid Directional Control Valve

The TOKYO KEIKI TOKIMEC DG4V-3-6C-M-P7-H-7-52 is a legacy three-position hydraulic directional valve equipped with a 6C spool, spring centering, two 24 VDC solenoids and an ISO 4401-03 mounting interface.

Center and Switching Functions

With both solenoids de-energized, the centering springs return the spool to its center position. The P port is blocked while the A, B and T ports are connected, maintaining pressure on the pump side while allowing the actuator ports to communicate with the tank line.

Energizing either 24 VDC solenoid shifts the spool and establishes the required working flow path. The opposite solenoid must be de-energized before a switching command is applied.

Installation and Circuit Notes

  • Use a 24 VDC control supply and verify the polarity and terminal arrangement.
  • Never energize both solenoids at the same time.
  • The indicator lamp shows coil energization but does not independently monitor the spool position.
  • Pressure surges in the tank line can cause incorrect spool operation.
  • The maximum permissible flow must be checked against system pressure and the actual flow path.

When selecting a replacement, verify the 6C center condition, dual-solenoid arrangement, 24 VDC voltage, P7 connector and ISO 4401-03 interface. A 6C valve must not be replaced with a 2A valve merely because the mounting pattern is the same.
