The TOKYO KEIKI TOKIMEC TGMX2-3-PP-BW-G-50 is an ISO 4401-03 modular pressure reducing valve designed to regulate pressure in the P port of a hydraulic valve stack. It uses the P line as its pilot-pressure source and provides an adjustable secondary-pressure range of approximately 0.35 to 7 MPa.

Pressure-Reducing Function

The valve reduces the upstream P-line pressure to the selected downstream pressure. When secondary pressure rises above the setting, the valve can operate in relief mode to help control the regulated circuit.

The standard pressure adjuster is located on the B-port side. Pressure is adjusted with a hex socket screw; turning the screw clockwise increases the pressure setting. A locknut is provided to secure the adjustment.

Adjustment and Installation Notes

• Relieve hydraulic pressure before changing or removing the valve.
• Turn the adjustment screw clockwise to increase the pressure setting.
• Measure the regulated pressure through the G1/8 gauge port.
• The actual minimum setting pressure varies with operating flow.
• Maximum flow is restricted when the pressure setting is below 7 MPa.
• System tank back pressure is added to the effective secondary pressure.

Selection Notes

The B pressure-range code specifies approximately 0.35 to 7 MPa. A CW version has a higher 1 to 14 MPa adjustment range and must not be selected solely because the mounting dimensions are identical.
