The TOKYO KEIKI TOKIMEC EPCG2-01-175-11 is a direct-operated proportional solenoid relief valve designed to control hydraulic circuit pressure in proportion to the electrical input current.
The valve is intended for small-flow hydraulic systems and can also provide pilot-pressure control for pilot-operated pressure valves or variable-displacement pumps. The 175 pressure-range code specifies a maximum adjustable pressure of 17.5 MPa.
Increasing the solenoid input current increases the controlled hydraulic pressure according to the valve's input-current-to-pressure characteristic. A suitable proportional valve controller is required to provide a stable and correctly regulated current signal.
A manual pressure-control knob is provided for initial adjustment or temporary operation when no input current is available. The knob must be returned counterclockwise before normal electromagnetic control is resumed.
