TOKYO KEIKI TOKIMEC EPCG2-01-210-11 Proportional Pressure Control Valve

The TOKYO KEIKI TOKIMEC EPCG2-01-210-11 is a direct-operated proportional solenoid relief valve that regulates hydraulic circuit pressure in proportion to the input current supplied to its proportional solenoid.

The 210 pressure-range code specifies a maximum adjustable pressure of 21 MPa. The valve is suitable for small-flow pressure-control circuits and for supplying pilot pressure to pilot-operated valves or variable-displacement pumps.

Electrical and Hydraulic Control

A proportional valve controller supplies regulated current to the 1 A solenoid. As input current increases, the controlled pressure rises according to the valve's current-to-pressure characteristic.

The solenoid uses two non-polarized terminals, so terminal polarity does not affect coil operation. The valve does not include an integrated electronic controller unless one is explicitly supplied as a separate accessory.

Installation and Operating Notes

  • Bleed air completely from the valve before applying closed-loop or proportional control.
  • Maintain control flow at or above 0.3 L/min for stable pressure regulation.
  • Return the T port directly to the reservoir and limit its back pressure to 0.2 MPa.
  • Use a controller designed for a 1 A proportional solenoid with approximately 14 Ω coil resistance.
  • Return the manual adjustment knob counterclockwise before normal electromagnetic operation.
  • Mounting bolts, the subplate and the proportional controller must be ordered separately unless included in the quotation.

Selection and Ordering Notes

The EPCG2-01-210-11 provides a higher maximum adjustable pressure than the 175 version. The two models share their basic envelope and electrical characteristics, but their pressure-control ranges are not identical.

This product is a direct-operated proportional relief valve, not a proportional reducing valve and not an ordinary on-off solenoid valve. Confirm the full model code, pressure requirement, controller compatibility and product condition before shipment.
