Product Overview

The Dynisco PT4624-5M-6/18-SIL2 is a two-wire melt-pressure transmitter with a nominal 0 to 5,000 psi range and 4-20 mA output. Its amplified current-loop signal is suitable for transmission to compatible PLC analog inputs, process controllers and monitoring equipment.

The 6/18 configuration consists of a rigid sensing stem with an approximately 18-inch flexible capillary section. The SIL2 designation identifies a safety-oriented configuration, but final SIL2 compliance depends on correct installation, system architecture, proof-test requirements and validation of the complete safety function.
