The input must be scaled so that 4 mA represents the calibrated zero and 20 mA represents 5,000 psi. Existing alarm thresholds, shutdown logic and displayed engineering units should be recorded before removing the old transmitter. Maintenance and Replacement Notes

Do not replace a 3.33 mV/V M31 transducer with this ME1 merely because the mechanical pressure range and thread appear similar. The excitation, receiving input and wiring arrangement are different. During installation, keep the flexible section away from sharp edges and hot surfaces beyond its approved conditions. Verify loop polarity and connector pinout before applying power. Mechanical zero and process zero should be checked after installation according to the machine procedure.
