The Schneider Electric LMC300CCA10000 is a PacDrive 3 LMC300 motion controller equipped with an integrated uninterruptible power supply function. The LMC300CCA10000 is intended for PacDrive 3 machines requiring up to 8 synchronized servo axes and an integrated UPS function. Typical applications include packaging systems, robotic handling equipment, printing machinery, production lines and machines where controller data retention or a controlled shutdown is important during a power interruption.
The UPS function does not replace the need for a correctly designed machine power system. Verify the UPS energy-storage component, supply arrangement, machine shutdown sequence and controller-project configuration.
Before replacement, confirm the complete LMC300CCA10000 reference, integrated UPS configuration, UPS energy-storage condition, hardware revision and firmware. Back up the CompactFlash card and machine project. Verify the 24 VDC power system, UPS wiring, shutdown sequence, Sercos project, Ethernet and CANopen settings and local I/O wiring.
The basic non-UPS LMC300CAA10000 is not an automatic direct replacement. Also verify connected servo drives, motor matching, brake option, encoder type, shaft configuration, communication modules and cable set.
Other integrated-UPS variants include LMC300CCB10000 with CAN, LMC300CCC10000 with Profibus DP, LMC300CCD10000 with one RT-Ethernet module, LMC300CCG10000 with two RT-Ethernet modules, LMC300CCI10000 with CAN and RT-Ethernet, and LMC300CCL10000 with Profibus DP and RT-Ethernet. LMC300CAA10000 is the corresponding basic non-UPS version.
