Product Overview

The Schneider Electric LMC600CBB10000 is a PacDrive 3 LMC600 high-performance logic motion controller supplied with an OM-C CAN communication option module. It supports up to 99 coordinated Sercos servo or robot axes while integrating PLC logic, motion control, digital and analog I/O, fieldbus communication and machine diagnostics.

The OM-C option provides an additional CAN communication channel for machines containing CAN-based peripheral equipment or legacy fieldbus devices. The complete LMC600CBB10000 commercial reference must be checked because the option-module configuration is part of the controller package and may affect the installed project and network configuration.

Compatible System and Applications

The LMC600CBB10000 is suitable for complex PacDrive 3 machines requiring up to 99 synchronized axes together with additional CAN communication. Applications may include high-speed packaging systems, multi-station production equipment, robotic handling cells, printing machinery and machines containing CAN-connected I/O, drives or peripheral devices.

The OM-C module uses controller communication resources and must be configured in the controller project. CAN protocol, node addresses, baud rate, terminating resistors, cable topology and connected devices must be verified before installation or replacement.

Maintenance and Replacement Notes

Verify the complete LMC600CBB10000 reference and confirm that the original controller contains the OM-C option module. Record the installed slot position, CAN network parameters, node addresses and cable connections before removing the controller.

Back up the CompactFlash card and controller project. Confirm firmware, hardware revision, controller memory, Sercos configuration, Ethernet settings, Profibus network, digital and analog I/O assignments and master-encoder connections.

The basic LMC600CAA10000 is not an automatic replacement because it does not include the same OM-C accessory package. Migration to LMC802 or another controller platform requires software, firmware, fieldbus and application-level verification.

Related Models

LMC600CAA10000 is the basic version without an additional option module. LMC600CBI10000 combines OM-C CAN and OM-NE RT-Ethernet modules. UPS-equipped CAN versions include LMC600CCB10000 with OM-C and LMC600CCI10000 with OM-C plus OM-NE.
