The Schneider Electric LMC600CCA10000 is a PacDrive 3 LMC600 high-performance logic motion controller supplied in the UPS Accessory Kit configuration. It supports synchronized control of up to 99 Sercos servo or robot axes and combines PLC logic, motion processing, industrial communication, integrated I/O and machine diagnostics.

The UPS accessory configuration distinguishes LMC600CCA10000 from the basic LMC600CAA10000 package. An internal battery pack can support the controller during a power interruption, allowing controller data to be retained or the machine application to perform a controlled shutdown according to the installed project.

The UPS battery condition, charging system, wiring and shutdown configuration must be verified before the controller is quoted or used as a replacement.

The UPS function must be integrated into the machine power-loss strategy. Battery capacity, charging condition, shutdown timing, CompactFlash data and machine application must be reviewed together.

Before replacing the controller, verify the complete LMC600CCA10000 reference, UPS accessory configuration, battery condition, hardware revision, firmware and CompactFlash project. Record the UPS wiring and machine shutdown sequence before disconnecting the original unit.

The non-UPS LMC600CAA10000 is not an automatic replacement because it does not provide the same power-loss handling configuration.
