The Schneider ATS22D62Q is a 62 A three-phase Altistart 22 soft starter for controlled acceleration and deceleration of asynchronous motors. It is designed to limit starting current and reduce mechanical and electrical stress during motor starting.
The Q version uses a 230–440 VAC main circuit and a 230 VAC control supply. At 400 V, the unit is commonly associated with motors up to approximately 30 kW, subject to motor current, load characteristics and starting duty.
The ATS22D62Q includes an integrated bypass contactor, six-thyristor power stage, electronic motor protection, adjustable current limitation, local display and native Modbus serial communication.

The ATS22D62Q is commonly applied to pumps, compressors, fans, conveyors, mixers and general process machinery. The controlled start can reduce pressure surges, belt shock, coupling stress and voltage disturbance.
For crushers, heavily loaded conveyors, high-inertia fans or applications with long acceleration periods, the 62 A unit may require duty derating or selection of a larger starter. Final selection requires complete motor and application data.
Retain the complete ATS22D62Q suffix when ordering. S6 and S6U models have different main-circuit and control-supply voltage specifications.
Check the bypass contactor, thyristors, cooling airflow, terminal condition, display, keypad and communication port. Review stored faults and verify operation under a suitable motor load where practical.
Confirm upstream protection, line or inside-delta connection, current-limit settings, motor thermal class, acceleration time and enclosure temperature before commissioning.
Related 62 A electrical versions include ATS22D62S6 and ATS22D62S6U. Adjacent Q-series current ratings include ATS22D47Q at 47 A and ATS22D75Q at 75 A.
ATS430 or ATS480 may be considered for migration projects, but neither should be described as an automatic one-to-one replacement without reviewing the motor, wiring and control requirements.
Please provide the complete motor nameplate, supply and control voltages, rated current, starting duty, load type, ambient temperature, altitude and required communication settings.
Product condition, functional-test scope, availability and delivery time must be confirmed before quotation.
