The Schneider ATS22C11Q is a 110 A three-phase Altistart 22 soft starter for medium-to-large industrial motors. The model code C11 represents 110 A rated operational current and must not be interpreted as 11 A.
The Q version operates with a 230–440 VAC main power circuit and a 230 VAC control supply. It is commonly associated with motors up to approximately 55 kW at 400 V or approximately 30 kW at 230 V, depending on motor current and starting duty.
The ATS22C11Q includes three-phase thyristor control, integrated bypass contactor, electronic motor protection, current limitation, torque-control starting functions, Modbus serial communication and an integrated local interface.

The ATS22C11Q is suitable for larger pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, mixers and general process machinery. It provides controlled acceleration and deceleration for systems where direct-on-line starting would create excessive current, pressure shock or mechanical stress.
The 55 kW motor value is a typical guide at 400 V. Selection must be verified against the actual 110 A starter rating, motor full-load current, acceleration time, required starting torque, starts per hour, ambient temperature and altitude.
Heavy conveyors, crushers, high-inertia fans or loaded-start applications may require oversizing and detailed review of normal or severe starting duty.
Confirm that C11 represents 110 A. Do not confuse ATS22C11Q with an 11 A product. Verify the Q suffix, 230–440 VAC power circuit and 230 VAC control supply.
For used units, inspect the bypass contactor, thyristor modules, fan or cooling system, bus connections, power terminals, control terminals and enclosure condition. Request a powered functional test and fault-history check where possible.
Before replacement, verify the line or inside-delta wiring, upstream short-circuit protection, motor overload coordination, communication parameters, control logic and available panel cooling.
Related 110 A versions include ATS22C11S6 with a 208–600 VAC main circuit and 230 VAC control supply, and ATS22C11S6U with a 208–600 VAC main circuit and 110 VAC control supply.
Adjacent Q-series ratings include ATS22D88Q at 88 A and ATS22C14Q at 140 A. Selection of a larger or smaller model requires a full motor and starting-duty review.
Please provide the motor nameplate, existing starter nameplate, rated current, supply voltage, control voltage, motor power, starting time, starts per hour, load type and installation environment.
Also confirm the required product condition, testing standard, enclosure space, communication requirements, availability and delivery time before quotation.
