The higher published process-temperature capability does not mean every component of the installation may operate at 538°C. Confirm housing temperature, stem heat transfer, capillary routing, diaphragm material, polymer chemistry and machine operating cycle. Prepare the mounting hole to the correct depth and thread specification. Prevent the diaphragm from contacting the bottom of the hole or hardened process residue. Route and support the flexible capillary so that vibration, sharp bending and mechanical abrasion are minimized.
